📅 Weekly plan

Plan your week by just saying it

Say “call the dentist on Tuesday” and it’s on Tuesday. One list with a section per day, and a fresh start every week.

The weekly plan is a light planner: not a calendar with time slots, but a list per day for the things you want to get to. Mention a day and the item goes there; everything else waits under Any day.

How it works

  1. Make the plan

Lists tab → + → Weekly plan. You get Monday to Sunday plus Any day.

  2. Add by saying the day

“Call the dentist on Tuesday, long run on Sunday, buy a present.” The first goes to Tuesday, the second to Sunday, the last to Any day. The day is taken out of the text.

  3. Add a time

Tap the Time chip on an item and type “10:00”.

  4. Tick off through the week

Swipe right or tap the circle when it’s done.

  5. Start a new week

From 1.7: List menu → Start new week removes what you did and keeps what’s still open.

Sections

  • Monday
  • Tuesday
  • Wednesday
  • Thursday
  • Friday
  • Saturday
  • Sunday
  • Any day

Tips

  • Dutch works too: “dinsdag de tandarts bellen” goes to Tuesday.
  • Hold an item → Add to Tasks for things that need a reminder.
  • Write → Weekly review turns your week into a short review (Apple Intelligence).

Questions

Is this a calendar?

No — it’s a list per day, for things you want to do that week. Appointments with a fixed time are better in your calendar.

What happens to unfinished items at the end of the week?

From 1.7, Start new week keeps them and clears the done ones, so they roll over.
