✅ To-do list

A to-do list you can just talk to

Say what needs doing, tick it off when it’s done. Simple on purpose — with a direct line to your Tasks when something needs a date.

Not everything needs a project or a due date. The to-do list is for the quick stuff: the things for this afternoon, the errands for Saturday. Speak or type, tick off, done. When an item turns out to need a deadline, send it to Tasks.

How it works

  1. Make the list

Lists tab → + → To-do list. Rename it by tapping the name, for example “Saturday errands”.

  2. Add what needs doing

Type an item, or tap the microphone. Separate items with commas: “call the garage, return the parcel”. “and” is kept inside an item, so “call mum and dad” stays one to-do.

  3. Tick off

Tap the circle or swipe right. Done items move to the bottom; tap Clear to remove them.

  4. Send to Tasks when it needs a date

Hold an item → Add to Tasks. It becomes a task, where you can set a due date and get a reminder.

Tips

  • Swipe left to delete; Undo appears for a few seconds.
  • Hold an item to edit it, or (from 1.7) to add details and a note.
  • Use the List widget to keep your to-dos on the Home Screen.

Questions

What’s the difference between the to-do list and Tasks?

Tasks are extracted from your voice notes and can have due dates, tags and reminders. The to-do list is a quick checklist. Hold a to-do → Add to Tasks to move it over.

Why doesn’t “and” split my to-do in two?

Because “call mum and dad” is one thing to do. Use commas to add several to-dos at once.
